AIM Group has a subsidiary in Real Estate, Narelli International Ltd; incorporated in 1990 to develop and maintain the AIM Group properties through a Facilities Management Department. Narelli is currently building AIM NIGERIA Complex, in Lekki Phase 1 for AIM’s Broadcasting H/Q (TV & FM Studios) & Staff Apartments and 3 (three) star Hotel.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Architect

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

• Responsible for Architectural Designs

Job Description

• Responsible for 3 dimensional computer generated perspective views
• Responsible for design & installation of furniture for office & domestic use
• Ability to supervise proposals on site
• Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications
• Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
• Working around constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget
• Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists
• Applying for planning permission and advice from governmental new build and legal departments
• Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts
• Choosing the materials to be used and specifying the requirements for the project
• Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
• Making sure the project is running according to schedule and budget
• Playing a part in project and team management
• Tavelling regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetings
• Writing Design criteria and design development study

Education: B.SC / M.SC / Professional Certification

• B.Sc Architecture
• M.E.D Environmental Design

Professional Certification:

• Architects Registration Council of Nigeria, ARCON – Full member
• Nigerian Institute of Architects, MNIA Full member
• Nigerian Institute of Management - member

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years work experience in similar position.
• Technical knowledge & cognitive approach to design analysis & implementation
• Ability to multi-task
• Conversant with Autodesk applications ; AutoCAD versions for drafting drawings
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong analytical & organization skill

Skills and Abilities (IT Tools)
Highly proficient in the use of the following:

• CAD Software: AutoCAD, Revit, 3DMax, Adobe photoshop
• Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power point )
• Good command of Language English Language ( Oral & Written )
