Lagos State School of Basic Midwifery, March 2013 Admissions

Applications are invited for admission into Basic Midwifery Training Programme at the Lagos State School of Basic Midwifery, Igando-Alimosho, Lagos.

Basic Midwifery is a professional course in the training of midwives. The qualifications are accredited and graded by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
The programme will commence in March, 2013.

Entry Requirements

• GCE O'Level or equivalents with credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Age Limit: 16 - 21 years.

Studey Period: Three (3) years

Application Closing Date
Completed application forms with relevant documents are to be accompanied with a handwritten personal statements on 'Why I want to be a midwife' in not more than 200 words, are to reach the Ministry of Health Alausa, Lagos on or before 12th February, 2013

Examination
Examination questions will cover English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Introduction to Basic Midwifery is scheduled as follows:

Time: 10.00 am.
