Petroleum Training Institute Admissions for 2013/2014 Academic Session

The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates, sponsored by oil/gas and allied companies for admission into the under-mentioned Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND) and full time Certificate programmes for the 2013/2014 academic session.

The following programmes are available at Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) levels.

• Industrial Safety and Environmental Technology
• Petroleum and Natural Gas Processing Engineering Technology
• Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
• Science Laboratory Technology
• Mineral Resources Engineering Technology
• Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies

• General Welding Certificate
• Commercial Diving Certificate (class I and Il)

Method of Application

1. Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of six thousand, eight hundred naira (N 6,800.00) only, for PTI admission form for 20 13/2014 Academic Session in any Zenith Bank branch nationwide
2. Following payment of six thousand, eight hundred naira N6,800.00) only, collect the confirmation bank PIN equivalent to the amount paid for the application form from the bank.
3. Click on Available Progrnimes or Download Prospectus to obtain all relevant information on Programmes and eligibility.
4. Log onto www.pti.edu.ng to proceed with your application. Candidates are to scan and upload recent coloured passport size photograph in JPEG format (not more than 15kb in size).
5. Click on Apply for Admission online application process using your PIN.
6. Enter a login name and password you must always remember to access your application from the portal for future use.
7. You can continue with your application after your first login by clicking on Return to my Application, enter your username and password to login.
8. Remember to print your completed application form and exam card which will be presented at the exam centre along with your bank PIN printout.

Sponsorship
Successful candidates shall be required to submit a copy of their sponsorship letter from their companies.

Date for Entrance Exam OND and General Welding Certificates Programmes
The entrance examination for National Diploma (ND) and General Welding Certificate programmes will be held on Satarday, June 22, 2013.

Date for Interview HND
The interview for HND candidates will be held from June 3 - 7, 2013, at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State

Diving Certificate Interview
Diving Certificate interview will be held from August 6 - 8, 2013, at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State.

Late Application
Late application starts from May 1 - 30, 2013, at the cost of seven thousand five hundred naira (N7,500.00) only. Thereafter, the site will, be shut down.
