The Honorable Minister of Education, Alh. Adamu Adamu invites all candidates who had successfully completed the Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) application form via the Electronic Application System (EAS), and fulfilled all necessary requirements stipulated in the 2017 CSFP Prospectus, to a Nomination Interview as scheduled below:

Date & Time: Wednesday 30th November, 2016; 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Schedule: Accreditation & Interview
Candidate's Zone of Origin: All PhD & Masters Candidates from North East & South South

Date & Time: Thursday 1st December, 2016; 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Schedule: Accreditation & Interview
Candidate's Zone of Origin: All PhD & Masters Candidates from North Central & South West

Date & Time: Friday 2nd December, 2016; 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Schedule: Accreditation & Interview
Candidate's Zone of Origin: All PhD & Masters Candidates from South East & North West

Date & Time: Saturday 3rd December, 2016; 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Schedule: Collation of Scores & Reports
Candidate's Zone of Origin: Committee of Panelist

I. Accreditation:
Federal Scholarship Board,
Federal Ministry of Education Annex,
Opposite Arewa Suites,
Central Business District,
Abuja.

II. Interview Sessions:
Nanet Suites,
Opposite Federal Ministry of Justice,
Abuja.

Interview Requirements
All candidates who successfully submitted the online EAS forms are expected to come with the following documents for the interview:

Four (4) hard copies of the EAS forms;

All original credentials and four (4) copies of each;
Evidence of submission of three (3) referees’ reports;
Evidence of Supporting statement from UK Supervisor for PhD only;
Original academic transcripts;
Original and copy of NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate;
Medical certificate of Fitness obtained from a Teaching Hospital, Federal Medical Centre or National Hospital, Abuja.;
Two (2) passport size photographs; and Evidence of any special awards(s), prizes, academic publications and sample of work

Important Notes
Candidates must ensure that they are duly accredited before the interview;

Any candidate without the requirements mentioned
above will not be accredited for the interview;
No interview will be conducted for any candidate who fails to attend the interview on the date scheduled for their zone of origin;
All Foreign certificates must be accompanied by thee official English translation and evaluation;
Candidates are advised to monitor the progress of their online application to ascertain the status of the referee’s response before the date of the interview; and
Only candidates who chose Federal Scholarship Board as their Nominating Agency are to attend the interview.

Candidates without:

A minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) degree
NYSC discharge/exemption certificate; and
Admission letter from any of the UK universities listed ii the Commonwealth site, need not to appear for the interview.
