Job Title: Senior Planing Engineer

Location: Any City, Nigeria

Responsibility

• Responsible for planning, scheduling end for creating the baseline for assigned project to ensure timely quality delivery.
• Responsible for monitoring and updating accurate schedule progress towards achieving the desired project completion date and informing the project management team of changes to schedule outcome,
• Identify the critical path of the project and pay attention to the activities in the critical path, to ensure that the project does not over run
• Guide the Quantity surveyor in preparing project job card.
• Oversee the daily activities of the Planner officer
• Understand the Overall scope of the project.
• Monitor actual man-hours spent on the project,
• Take notes of all scope and quantity changes in the project aid treat them as variation additional works
• Prepare kick-ahead schedule for continuation and project management
• Attend meetings with management and/or client.
• Responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within set deadlines, on budget, and in line with all time relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Responsible for the preparatio0 of the trend analysis with regards to the status of the project.
• Directly responsible for raising and giving notifications in advance when from the analysis conducted and from observation it shows that the schedule delivery-time will not be metes envisaged.
• Coordinate activities in a structured manner in order to achieve a successful planning outcome,
• Responsible for appraising construction, analysing logistics and managing time
• Responsible for recommending immediate solutions to potential problems for efficient
• execution and resolution.
• Coordinate and liaise with the Cost Control Engineer for preparation of the project status report

• Good Communication skills; being professional, computer literacy( Proficient with excel)

• Reports: Monthly update of project schedule; look-ahead schedule; Weekly and monthly reports; Progress measurement sheet, Project status report (Planning section)
