Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Recruits Deputy-Director of Research (Human Virology)

The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Yaba-Lagos, a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following Senior Research and Administrative Positions.

Job Title: Deputy-Director of Research (Human Virology)

Qualification and Experience

• The candidate must possess a Ph.D in Microbiology/ its equivalent or an MBBS degree plus a registrable post graduate Fellowship of the National postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent.
• Must have put in at least 4 years as a Chief Research Fellow or an equivalent job grade with a Research/Academic Establishment.
• There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research and peer recognition with at least twenty (20) publications on peer reviewed journals.
• Evidence of Administrative experience, competences in computer application and ability/evidence of winning research grants will also be an added advantage.

Salary
CONHESS 14 STEP 1/CONMESS 06/1 (N 3,430,218.00 x N 98,448.00) perannum.
