Head Teacher at Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH) Staff School

The OSUSTECH Staff School is established and funded by the Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa.
The approval to run the School was granted by the Ondo State Ministry of Education, Akure.

The School intends to commence academic activities beginning from the 2013/2014 academic session with the Crèche, Nursery and Primary 1 and 2 classes.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Head Teacher for the OSUSTECH Staff School.

Job title: Head Teacher

The Person

• The Head Teacher for the Staff School should possess wide administrative and teaching experience in elementary school curriculum.
• He/She should have an impeccable character, integrity and should be a team player with good inter-personal relations. He/She should be caring, loving and friendly with pupils and staff alike.

Qualification
The ideal Head Teacher should possess the following educational qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor of Arts/Science in Education B.A (Ed.) or B.Sc (Ed.)
• Possession of additional higher or professional teaching qualification will be an added advantage.
• The ideal Head Teacher should possess a minimum cognate and working experience of at least 15 years preferably in a public Primary School.
• He/She must have spent at least 4 years as an Assistant Head Teacher or Head Teacher at the Primary School level.
• A retired Primary School Head Teacher with proven years of experience and not more than 55 years old is also eligible to apply.
