Government of Rivers State Civil Service Commission - Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates for the following positions in the Rivers State Civil Service.

1.) Audit

• Director (Audit) - GL 16
• Deputy Director (Audit) - GL 15
• Assistant Director (Audit) - GL 14

Age: not more than 50 years of age for non-serving officers.

Educational / Professional Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or Economics with Accountancy as a special subject, obtained from a recognised university or institution. Candidates must also have membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) as specified in the scheme of service of the public sevice of the federation. Work Experience:

• A minimum of 15 (fifteen) years of relevant work experience in audit for Directors, 10 (ten) years for Deputy Directors and 8 (eight) years for Assistant Directors, respectively.

2.)  Land Survey

• Director - GL 16
• Deputy Director - GL 15
• Assistant Director - GL 14
• Chief Surveyor - GL 13
• Principal Surveyor - GL 12
• Senior Surveyor - GL 10

Age: Not more than 50 years of age for non-serving officers

Educational / Professional Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of a degree in Land Surveying, Survey, Engineering, Geodetic Science or Geodetic Engineering, Geographic information system, Hydrography from a recognised university or institution, candidate must also have registered with the Surveyors Registration Council of Nigeria (SURCON) as specified in the scheme of service for use in the Public Service of the Federation.

Work Experience

• A minimum of 15 (fifteen) years of relevant work experience for Directors, 12 (twelve) years for Deputy/Assistant Directors, 10(ten) years for Chief/Principal Surveyors and 5(five) years for Senior Surveyors, respectively. Copied from: hotnigerianjobs.com

• Data management/Geospatial Information, Remote Sensing /Mapping Arial Survey

3.) Medical Officers

• Senior Registrar  - GL 14
• Senior Medical Officer Grade 11, GL 13
• Registrar/Medical Officer, G1 12

Age: Not more than 50 years of age for non-serving officers

Educational / Professional Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a degree in Medicine registrable with the medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) from a recognised institution.
