Arbico Plc is recruiting to fill the vacant position of:

Job Title: Senior Human Resources & Admin Officer

Location:
Lagos

Minimum Qualification: First Degree

Required Experience: 5 - 7 years

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Social Sciences/Humanities Discipline.
  • A post-graduate degree (e.g. MBA, M.Sc) from a reputable university will be an added advantage.
  • Membership of CIPM, CIPD or any professional body in Human Resources Management.
  • Candidate must have at least 5 years experience in Human Resources and Administration.
  • Proven experience in people management; strategic planning; handling administration issues and change management.
  • Experience in planning, developing, implementing and delivering training and development.
  • Extensive knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures and strategy implementation.
  • Experience in construction/engineering industry is desirable but not compulsory. Copied: www.hotnigerianjobs.com
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head, HR & Admin in the day to day management and handling of HR and Admin matters.
  • Assist the Head, HR & Admin to review progress, discuss major problems and re-appraise priorities for both Human resources and administration.
  • Administering Training and Development programme.
  • Assist in top level recruitment and negotiations.
  • Collaborates with HR leadership and organisational leadership to diagnose and identify interventions needed to improve organisational effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and advice to employee related matters.
  • Supervise the accuracy of employee records in both hard-copy files and the HRMS system. Copied: www.hotnigerianjobs.com
  • Supervise Administrative staff and ensure smooth running of all administrative functions.
  • Assist in performance management, organisational development and disciplinary procedures.
  • Work closely with Line Managers in implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Head, Human Resources and Executive Management.
