We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store Controller

Location: Victoria Island- Lagos

Role & Responsibilities

Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing to & communicating warehouse information for strategic plans & reviews; implementing production, productivity & quality to JCDecaux Standards.
Resolve any challenges & identify warehouse system improvements.
Responsible for the efficient storage, receipt, issue & management of all inventory, maintenance stock, including vehicles, equipment, tools & cleaning equipment.
Ensure correct procedures are followed for receipt, storage & dispatch of Hazardous materials.
Plan & organise inventory picks to ensure inventory is issued in a timely & efficient manner.
Update & maintain computer inventory records to ensure traceability of all inventory
Supervise & allocate work to Stores Assistant & maintenance staff
Liaise with Supply Chain & Logistics Co-originator on inventory levels to ensure optimum levels are kept to meet current requirements.
Supervise the organisation of the warehouse & stockroom storage facilities to maximise storage efficiency & recommend improvements where necessary
Carry out perpetual stock counts (Cycle stock counts) when required to do so
Administer inter-depot stock transfers
Manage & update the stores bin location system & ensure all inventory is labelled before receipting location
Manage layout of the stores & adapt the inventory profile to most efficiently suit the current requirement
Manage & control re-site stock. Liaise with Supply Chain & Logistics Co-Ordinator regarding recalls & write-offs. Ensure Return Material Authorisation (RMA) policies & procedures are carried out at all times.
Purchase inventory & maintenance items via local order procedure when required to do so.
Responsible for the accurate upkeep of all invoices & orders including accurate filing & data management
Ensure the documentation / records for all Hazardous material is kept up-to-date
Responsible for the loading & unloading of all vehicles.
Oversee the maintenance & upkeep of the warehouse, stores & grounds.
Ensure good housekeeping principles for the warehouse & grounds are adhered to at all times.
Maintain & uphold the security of warehouse / stockrooms at all times; ensure alarms are activated, change security codes regularly & test system
Oversee the maintenance of all equipment & vehicles – ensuring relevant servicing & documentation is kept up-to-date, including fuel cards & daily check. Institute preventative maintenance procedures for all equipment & vehicles
Adhere to all JCDecaux policies, procedures & code of contact at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

Relevant Degree
Valid Driver’s licence
Experience in warehouse and/or maintenance operations; loading, offloading, inventory management
Literate and numerate in order to complete the necessary paper work.
Ability to use a forklift will be an added advantage
Health & Safety awareness, including knowledge of OHS Act

Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, coâ€�operative and enthusiastic.
Flexible approach to work - willingness to work out of hours to complete tasks when necessary and to travel.
Ability to work well and enjoy working in the constantly changing and challenging operations arena.
Be prepared to work in all weather conditions
Must be able to undertake reasonable lifting duties
Must be an adaptable, committed and reliable
Both literate and numerate in order to complete the necessary paper work.

Skill Set:

Must have experience in Supervising staff, Data Entry Management, Reporting Skills & dealing with complexities within the warehouse & stores environment
Must possess an attitude of dependability & flexibility, display evidence of Teamwork, organisational / time management skills, be deadline-orientated, with initiative & commitment to all task given.
Must be able to display evidence of a stores background with good housekeeping & equipment maintenance skills
Must have experience in Health & Safety awareness, including knowledge of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) & quality Management
Experience with a computer based inventory system / ERP system
Communicate effectively & interface with Operations & Production in JCDecaux Nigeria, as well as all 3rd Party Vendors & contractors.
