Psyntech Limited - Our client, is a young and growing organization with presence in the health & wellbeing sector. They are seeking for qualified candidates to work in their new medical centre which offers a variety of outpatient services including diagnostic testing and imaging, radiology, rehabilitation therapy as well as other laboratory work.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pathologist

Location: Kwara

Responsibilities

• Conduct prescribed tests, analyse results and prepare reports based on findings.
• Examine and diagnose bodily fluids, such as blood and urine, or tissues from biopsies and Pap smears, to diagnose disease
• Examine microscopic samples to identify diseases or other abnormalities
• Perform autopsies when required.
• Oversee the laboratory with the responsibility of managing other physicians and lab technicians
• Communicate pathologic findings to surgeons or other physicians and assist in diagnosis, treatment and management decisions.
• Conduct research and present scientific findings.

Education

• Must Possess MBBS from a recognized medical school with specialty in pathology

Other Requirements:

• Must be currently licensed by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Must stay abreast of research and development in the field of pathology and be knowledgeable about existing data in medical practices and diseases.
• Candidates MUST reside in Kwara State (Ilorin and its environs)
