We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Control and Instrumentation Specialist

Location: Akure

Job Description

• Control and Instrumentation Specialist plans, designs, develops, implements and manages equipment used for controlling and monitoring different engineering machinery, equipment and processes.
• Main responsibility will be to make sure that all the processes and tools are functional, efficient, and safe for users.
• Our Control and Instrumentation Specialists must have an excellent understanding of operational processes and a good knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC), distributed control systems, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), Advanced Process Control (APC) and Weighing and Equipment Caliberation.
• High level skills in managing and operating Windows server and XP edition, Siemens S7 PLC Hardware, Siemens step 7 software and programming, Siemens S7 safety Plc, Industrial Ethernet and TCP in IP Networks, ECS (FLS Automation process control system) and Proface HMI Displays and Profibus DP Networks.

Qualification and Experience

• A Degree or Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• At least five years Hand-on experience performing similar role
• Good business skills and commercial awareness are big virtues
• The ability to motivate others, Deliver on time, in-budget, to-specification and contribute to Food Safety and Business Quality Management System Development are very important.
• Ability to share knowledge and good knowledge and enforcement of LEAN manufacturing process very essential.
• Not more than 35 years.
