Chief Security Officer at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED)

The Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED) is one of the leading and oldest public funded College f Education in Nigeria. The College was established by the Lagos State Government to give instructions leading to the award of the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of:

Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Lagos

The Candidate

• The candidate should be able to conduct drills and should show evidence of good communication skills and crisis management.
• He is to see to the overall control of all security personnel of the College, ensure the protection of lives and property of Staff, Students and the entire College Community.

Qualifications

• An honours Degree or HND with specialized training in the Nigeria Police/Armed Forces and other related services
• At least ten (10) years cognate experience.
• A certificate in specialized security training is an added advantage.
• Not below Assistant Superintendent of Police or its equivalent ranks in the Armed Forces or related services with ten (10) years experience plus at least five(5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC/SSCE/NECO.
• A Degree holder who has attained the rank of Chief Security Officer with at least three (3) years
• experience or Assistant Chief Security Officer with at least five (5) years experience in a College of Education or a similar institution.

Conditions of Service/Appointment

• The appointment of the Chief Security Officer shall be on contract basis fore period of two (2) years in the first instance which is subject to renewal after the expiration of the initial contract.

Salary

• The Chief Security Officer shall be placed on CONTENDISS 08 in the present salary structure of non- teaching members of staff of the College.
