Thru Tubing Supervisor at an International Oil & Gas Company

Our client is one of the largest International Oil and Gas service companies providing products and services for drilling, evaluation, completion, production, and intervention of oil and natural gas wells, pipeline construction and commissioning.

We are currently looking to recruit the position below

Job Position: Thru Tubing Supervisor

Location: Port-Harcourt, Nigeria
Report to: TRS/Fishing & Re Entry Operations Manager

Job Purpose

• The Thru Tubing Fishing Supervisors is to building up the Thru Tubing department with tools and develops personnel to perform day to day Thru Tubing activities.
• Supervisor will work in both office and rig site.
• Liaise with customers as to their requirements for Thru Tubing and develop job programs in conjunction with clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess resources required to serve clients current and future needs.
• Act as an interface between organization and designed clients.
• Responsible for meeting client deadlines.
• Maximize the sustained profitability of the client and the company by matching the total array of the company's technical and operational capabilities to the client's need.
• Responsible for developing a thorough knowledge of the assigned clients account to ensure full understanding of organization and clients business needs.
• Maintain and build relationship between organization and assigned clients to a standard acceptable by both parties.
• Establish contacts with potential customers; promote the company image, products and services.
• Define, develop and capture IT tool market in Nigeria.
• Define and instigate development infrastructure for business
• Train local staff to handle business, and technical requirements.
• Establish and maintain safe and compliant working practices.
• Ensure profitability of business, define and update pricing budgets
• Maintain and develop quality profitable business with existing clients.
• Develop client base.
• Ensure department operates in line with QA/QC policy and update/maintain procedures as required.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to quality, health, safety and the environment.
• Apply organization's and where appropriate client company's, quality, health, safety and environment policy and safety management systems.

Additional Relevant Information

• Must be wiling to move in between locations as required by customer or organizations needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of BSc in Engineering or any related field. MSc would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years Thru Tubing experience gained within a relevant working environment.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Substantial knowledge of Thru tubing Tools both running and maintaining and limitations.
• Minimum full knowledge required of milling and fishing requirement in most environments on coil
• Must be commercially awake and sales oriented.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Ability to assess which combinations of tools are likely to succeed in given environment.
• Substantial inflatable packer experience.
• Well control certificate
• PC literacy in Microsoft packages.
• Ability to manage/facilitate change
• Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels.
• Ability to build and maintain trust.
