Golden Transport Company Limited, a subsidiary of Golden Penny Company Ltd is recruiting to fill the following vacant positions:

Job Title: Accountant

The Job:

Prepare management and financial accounts
Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts - bank reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, fixed assets, vendors and cashiers
Coordinate monthly and yearly end closing activities and provide support to external auditors
Manage tax portfolio and ensure compliance to statutory regulations
Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast
Monitor all CAPEX request to head office and coordinate all related project performance report
Carry out periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation with stock records

The Person:

Analytical, Interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
Excellent knowledge of ERP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Qualification:

First Degree/HND in Accounting or related field
Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA)
5 O’level credits including Mathematics and English Language in not more than 2 sittings

Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
