Our company, an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management (EPCM) Firm with a bias for Public Transportation & Urban Renewal is embarking on strategic expansion of her operations and hereby seeks to engage qualified candidate for the position of Transport Engineers, We have our head office in Lagos and branches in several parts of the country.

Responsibilities

• The Transport Engineer is to work with the team to deliver Public Transport projects from inception to completion
• Analyse and assess transport problem and proffer solutions.
• Develop project and transport plans.
• Assist in developing transport proposals and presentation.
• Collect and evaluate transport data for necessary forecast
• Develop Public Transport Operational and Financial Models
• Propose infrastructure for Public Transport Projects.
• Identify institutional gaps in Public Transport Management and make recommendations.
• Support project team lead in monitoring project progress and ensure effective control system.
• Support project team lead in preparation of project risk plan and management strategy
• Track ongoing projects’ milestone and constraints to promptly spot deviation.
• Assist in weekly and monthly project status report preparation.

Requirements

• Minimum of first degree in Civil Engineering with 2nd Class Upper Honours from a reputable university (Ist Class Honours in Civil Engineering will he an added advantage)
• Master Degree in Transportation related discipline
• Analytical and Problem Solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) skills
• Good interpersonal and team building skills
• Excellent report writing skill
• Ability to cope well under pressure
• Good attention to detail
• Highly proficient in the use of computer and engineering packages (AutoCAD etc.)
• Not more than four (4) years post NYSC working experience is desired.
