Job Position: UFR Oil Offloading Lines (OOLs) & Flexibles Leader

Job Description:
The OOLs and Flexibles Leader will be eventually responsible for the delivery of the OOLs and Flexible Jumpers, in accordance with Contracts requirements, in particular technical requirements and schedule, ensuring all aspects of the EPCI works are accounted for in due time. This means:
Managing the OOLs/ Flexible Jumpers Detailed Engineering / Qualification / Procurement activities performed by UFR Contractor
Following up Manufacturing, Fabrication, Installation and Pre-commissioning activities performed by UFR Contractor and managed by UFR inspection, construction and installation teams
To this objective, the OOLs/ Flexible Leader will be in charge of:
Reviewing of all relevant Engineering / Qualification / Procurement documentation, ensuring the adequate level of priority is given
Ensuring that Engineering / Qualification / Procurement activities are performed in line with Contracts requirements and Project Specifications, all within project schedule
Ensuring that Engineering / Qualification / Procurement activities are performed in line with TOTAL General Specifications and issue proper derogations, if required
Ensuring that Engineering activities are progressed to a sufficient level before the start of Qualification, Procurement, Manufacturing and Fabrication activities
Ensuring that design and qualification outcomes/ constraints are adequately considered in due time for Procurement, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Installation and Pre-commissioning, and vice/ versa
Ensuring that for the Manufacturing and Fabrication of critical items, ITPs are reviewed in due time by the relevant parties and are given the right level of attention
Assisting Manufacturing, Fabrication, Installation and Pre-commissioning activities and leading the resolution of technical issues when necessary
Assisting in interface management with UFR, FPSO, OLT buoy Contractors
Answering UFR Contractor technical queries as necessary
Ensuring that HSE requirements are taken into consideration during design
Getting assistance from dedicated Egina UFR Team specialists (such as flexible, hydrodynamics, structural, material & welding, corrosion & coating, etc ...)
Getting assistance from COMPANY specialists, or third parties, if required, for specific topics.
Service Description:
Providing inputs to contract correspondence, as necessary
Issuing reports and presentations as necessary
Participating in various technical reviews (Hazids, Hazops, Project Technical Reviews, Risk Assessments...) and ensuring implementation of recommendations as necessary.
HSE
To ensure that all safety and environmental required studies will be reviewed/updated and that final design will comply with ALARP policy.
To ensure that design will comply with all HSE requirements and that Safety and Environment dossiers will be provided to National Authorities in due time.
To demonstrate leadership for implementation of Company requirements on technological risks management.
To ensure that all recommendations from safety studies and technical reviews are fully addressed in design phase.
To ensure necessary resources are available for preparation of information needed to issue safety and environmental dossiers.
To fully comply with office security, health and safety instructions.
To stay vigilant and maintain continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings.
To report to Management on any issue they may face or observe and propose way of improvement.
To also take care of colleagues safety and behavior without hesitating to intervene as much as necessary.
To give his own input and making sure the workplace is safe (obviously clean and tidy).
In doubt to ask questions to gain clarification.
To fully comply with Security rules about Travelling in Nigeria.
Accountabilities
Reports directly to the Risers System Lead of flexible jumpers and Technical Manager for OOLs
Accountable for the delivery of the OOLs/ Flexibles Jumpers, in accordance with Contract requirements, in particular technical/ HSE requirements, within schedule and without undue change to the scope.
Requirements
Graduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline MANDATORY (copy of diploma to be provided) with M.Sc or equivalent. Pending experience candidates with BSc may be also given consideration
7 years experience in flexible/ dynamic riser engineering, hydrodynamics for deepwater Projects (pending profile, candidates with less experience and previous exposure to UFR EPCI projects will be also given due considerations). Relevant experience will include development of detail design specifications, performance and / or validation of detail design calculations for flexible lines, follow-up of fabrication and installation activities
Good knowledge of international design codes / standards and COMPANY general specifications
Good sense of organization, ability to prioritize activities, to identify critical aspects, to propose way forwards, to lead specialists or third parties, to summarize and present complex design issues including transverse and interfaces matters
Some basic knowledge in structural design and flow-assurance will be also valuable
Some basic knowledge in material, corrosion, coatings will be also valuable
