Position Title: DGS Sales Specialist (Interventional and Xray) Job

Job Number: 1773398
Location: Ikoyi - Lagos, Nigeria

Role Summary/Purpose:
  • You will be responsible for selling complex technical products/services for Interventional and Xray. Generally not account-assigned; called into accounts as opportunities are identified and will work with Sales Account Managers to close sale.
  • This position will manage and coordinate the sales and technical team to support the sale, and will be called on as a technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions and to close complex technical sales.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales orders, margin, market share, customer satisfaction of DGS products and business solutions in assigned area.
  • Forecasting orders and sales of assigned territory and submit monthly report
  • Develop good long term customer relationships, and high customer satisfaction whilst utilizing to optimum level resources in the team and Company/GE businesses.
  • Serving as client executive, responsible for overall engagement quality and relationship management at all levels
  • Lead opportunities with new pursuits and up-selling including proposal development, analysis, and project planning
  • Work with sales leaders and sales representatives to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities
  • Providing training to all sales team members on strategy, competitive information and product offerings
  • Making cold calls to potential customers where required
  • Providing pricing strategy and insure pricing compliance for segment opportunities
  • Estimating date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules
  • Representing the company at trade association meetings to promote product and company
  • Manage clinical discussion around our technology and solution, understand clinical practices
  • Develop effective operating mechanisms with channel managers to grow the DGS business
  • Build strong relationship with key opinion leaders in order to develop programs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of selling experience in a medical, healthcare or clinical field
  • Minimum 5 years Clinical expertise in Diagnostic Imaging field with Strong medical background.
  • High focus on clinical knowledge.
  • Experience in creating and communicating value propositions with sales, clients and delivery teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiating & Influencing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Able to travel
  • Valid motor vehicle license
  • Customer centricity
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Typically 5-8 years direct work experience.

  • Desired Characteristics:
  • Qualification in healthcare
  • Radiographer
  • Previous experience selling capital goods
  • Direct experience selling to CXO levels as well as technical decision makers.
