I am a senior accounting professional. In recent years I have held titles such as Director Finance & Budgeting Planning, Senior Manager of Finance, Manager Finance & Accounts and/or Finance Manager. Most recently, and for the past 7 years, I am Director Finance & Budgeting Planning for a Kuwait based Telecom company. I have consistently worked as an integral member of the management team to ensure that mission critical, strategic objectives are met.

As an accounting professional, I recognize that complete accuracy, transparency, and completeness in financial records and reporting contribute very directly to enhanced bottom line. Developed Business plan and budget to fix targets and close eye on future growth of the organization. That focus on efficiency, on making certain that every detail is in place, is perhaps more crucial in the current economic climate that at any time in recent memory. As a MBA (Finance) and Master’s of Accounts, numbers are a major part of my career, and I believe that my numbers speak for themselves.

Under my present tenure, I directly contributed to an annualized savings of USD 2.6 million by suggesting setting up of a solar power system for BTS sites. Suggested implementation of a new tariff plans for B2B Customers, which lead to an annual revenue increase of USD 1 million and reduced personnel costs in my department by $190K/year, and increased professional staff utilization efficiency by 8%. I have accomplished this through a dedication to every detail, recognizing the importance of savings in every area of business. But equally crucial is the big picture, the long-term organizations goals. Although I do watch every financial detail, I never lose track of that big picture; I don’t ignore the forest for the trees.
