Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading provider of oil & gas engineering Company to recruit a Project Engineer – Design/Layout for its operations in Nigeria.

Job Title: Project Engineer Design Layout

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• The Project Engineer shall develop and revise drawings and technical documentation of equipment and systems according to contract requirements.
• He/She will report to the project Manager
• Cross discipline Design/Layout coordination in Project
• Performance of periodical Layout & Design Reviews, using Autodesk Navis 3D tool
• Performing systematic logging and action follow-up & close out from reviews & findings
• Internal/external technical multidiscipline communication
• Undertakes design verification, which may include but not limited to: risk analysis, failure analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Design Reviews, Design calculations to establish a full Design Verification Package (DVP) to satisfy the verification plan.
• Ensures that the project is designed in accordance with current HSE legislation

Requirements

• BSc engineering design from a recognised institution
• Minimum of 5 years experience in oil & gas industry
• Experience with design tools
• COREN Certified
• Fluency in English is compulsory
• Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills
• Should be Self-motivated
