A Newspaper publishing company situated in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja requires for immediate employment a suitable candidate to fill the following position in its Head Office, Abuja:

Job Title: Assistant Advert Manager (On-line Adverts)

Location: Abuja

Responsibilities

The Assistant Advert Manager (On-line Adverts) will be responsible for driving online advertisement sales with existing and new clients, including online advertising placement firms, advertising agencies with online portfolios and other organizations.
Ability to create and nurture new accounts.
Consultative sales process that incorporates urgency
Reviews and prioritizes sponsorship opportunities to further advertise their products/services.
Drawing up and implementing advertising strategies for companies and clients.
Works with Marketing Department and Commercial Department to ensure successful product/services launches & product promotions.
Readily open to coaching and new ideas.

Competencies

You’ll be analytical, enjoy working in a technology based environment and have experience of online and print advertising.
Has proven track record of delivering measurable results
Able to formulate plans and persuade others to support such plans
Has experience in developing advertising campaigns - both online and print Adverts)
Good skill in online advertising and ability to generate numerous ideas for any given strategy.
Successful track record of achieving online advert sales
Strong orientation toward teamwork, ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

The candidates must possess B.Sc Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or any of the humanities with minimum of Second class lower or lower credit from reputable University or Polytechnic.
A minimum of 7 years related work experience out of which 3 must be related to advertising.
Current relationships with online advert placement firms (Nigeria and overseas)
Possession of ACPON will be an added advantage
Preferred candidate must be active and proficiency in the use of online platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
