Total E & P Nigeria Limited (TEPNG) is a leading Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company and a subsidiary of the Total Group. The company is in a growth phase, and as part of its expansion activities, welcomes applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for its Oil & Gas Production Operations Training Scheme facilitated by a Training Company. Job description
Egina is a deep offshore development located in block OML130 in Nigeria operated by TOTAL Upstream Nigeria Limited. The development is located 150 km from the coast in 1550 m water depth and includes a spread moored FPSO of 240 POB, associated offloading calm buoy, 2 productions loops connecting six subsea manifold with 21 production wells and 3 injection lines connecting 23 water injection wells. A 20km gas export line ties in to the Akpo export pipeline to Amenam.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee the drilling/completion/work-over operations in compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection all while optimizing costs.
• Ensure the suitability of operational requirements of personnel, equipment and services.
• Ensure safety and security of the operations within the project through the administration of Total HSE procedures and statutory regulations.
• Prepare operations programs
• Produce the technical and operational synthesis
• Ensure follow-up of operations
• Draw up operating procedures
• Ensure cost follow-up
• Conduct studies to improve performance
• Prepare and conduct invitations to tender and service and equipment contracts
• Optimize activities of service providers and assess their performance
• Ensure the respect of safety rules and frames of reference
• Anticipate needs and organize supply
• Propose technological innovations
• Contribute to improving skills and know-how
• Prepare budgets
• Implement operating structures
• Monitor and control contractor achievement (technical requirements, cost , planning etc)
• Establish a team which is highly motivated and works diligently to meet statement of requirement
• Reporting to project management & partners
• Interfaces with project packages
• Prepare the drilling and completion design, the operation plan and the contract/CFT plan.
• Execute drilling & completion project phase.
• Remain within the agreed budget, schedule for completion and statement of requirements.
• Manage under the responsibility of the project manager the enginnering/ construction works (for completion, tubulars , rig upgrades et..)

Requirements

• Graduate degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Professional experience of 15 years in Exploration and Production with exposure to deep offshore drilling issues and 5 years in management of drilling teams. Good knowledge of codes & standards of Oil & Gas industry.
• Aptitude to offshore work and multicultural environment.
