Responsibilities
To manage procurement for the trucking and follow trucks availability for operations team.

• Incumbent will be in constant contact with Damco operations team and truckers to create an environment of innovation and rapid response to client's needs based on deep awareness of their business.
• Ensure the truckers remain highly satisfied with the service received from Damco
• Actively communicate, safeguard and promote truckers’ and team’s interest within global account management team. Copied: www.hotnigerianjobs.com

Communication:

• Implement internal/external communication protocols and deadlines
• Maintain, develop and manage close working relationships with truckers at the operational level
• Exert influence to convince truckers to accept proposals and development solutions which add financial value to clients’ and Damco's business.
• Proactively take a leading role to share best practice in relation to operation excellence and business opportunities.
• Work closely with daily contacts in market and Damco.

Relationship Management

• Maintain and develop good relationship with truckers
• Closely communicate with internal and external stake holders to achieve win-win
• Close and effective cooperation with operations to support and help them to deliver
• Arrange regular trucker meeting to discuss operations improvement.

Qualifications and Skills
Who we are looking for

• The ideal candidate will be an enterprising and competitive individual, with a proven track record of closing deals.
• The position requires previous experience of Beninese trucking business and solid communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills for client strategic relations and project management skills are also required.
• Licence in Logistics & 5 years experience in logistics market minimum.
