We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Accountant/Admin Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information
• Keep records of all company payments
• Handles administrative and human resource tasks
• Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
• Ensure that key financial processes are properly documented and updated and reviewed regularly with a view to achieving improvements and efficiencies.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• A recognized accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA etc) is an advantage
• Basic Accounting knowledge
• Human resource management
• Well versed in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Up to date with all tax (and relevant) laws
• Good verbal and written skills as well as computer literacy is a key requirement.

Remuneration
Annual Salary: 700k basic.
