Psyntech Limited - Our client, a leading provider of infrastructure-based Telecommunications, ISP & IP Telephony, and other Information Technology services here in Nigeria, requires the services of suitably qualified candidates for employment to fill the position  of:

Job Title: Internal and Risk Auditor

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide assurance that risk management and control systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organisation's objectives and goals to be met
• Report risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to the audit committee and provide recommendations for improving the organisation's operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance
• Evaluate information security and associated risk exposures
• Evaluate regulatory compliance program with consultation from legal counsel
• Evaluate the organisation's readiness in case of business interruption
• Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee
• Team with other internal and external resources as appropriate
• Engage in continuous education and staff development
• Provide support to the company's anti-fraud programs

Requirements

• Professional auditing expertise and experience at a senior level in a large organisation, making extensive use of computerised systems. Telecoms would be an advantage.
• Experience in audit risk assessment, relating to the control framework of a large public sector or commercial organisation.
• Very good analytical and investigation skills
• Deep knowledge of regulatory guidelines for operations
• Ability to interpret financial data
• Detail oriented
• Results orientation
• Good communication and analytical skills
• General IT knowledge
• HND/BSc in any social science course or related field. Upper Credit/Second Class Upper (2.1)
• Professional qualification in any of the following: ACCA, ICAN, etc.
• Required Experience: Minimum of 6 Years
• Age: Not more than 35 years
