Our aim is to meet the energy needs of society in ways that are economically, socially and environmentally viable, now and in the future. Our focus on innovation and technology has made us a leading manufacturer, distributor and marketer of refined petroleum products and has us ranked amongst the top 50 most innovative companies in the world.

Shell Recruitment Day 2013

At Shell, we're developing all kinds of ideas to help meet the growing demand for energy. And we're looking for ambitious students and graduates to help us do more.

Shell's core values are Honesty, Integrity and Respect in all its operations, is an equal opportunity employer and an advocate for diversity and inclusiveness.

Shell Graduate Programme

The Shell Graduate Programme is a development framework that enables new graduates to become fully independent Shell professionals in 2-5 years. At Shell, new graduates have access to an unparalleled range of roles and world-class training and development opportunities, including:
  • Leadership skills development
  • Networking, Coaching and Mentoring relationships
  • Learning curriculum (training, e-learning modules, accreditation)
Who we're looking for:
  • Graduates who finished with a very good degree at the Undergraduate level
  • Graduates who are currently engaged in or have finished their National Youth Service
  • Graduates with less than four years post graduation experience
There will be specific skill requirements for your chosen job area. But whatever your role, there are certain qualities you'll need if you're going to succeed at Shell. Copied: www.hotnigerianjobs.com

You also need to be good at absorbing information, analysing problems, making objective decisions and coming up with original ideas. You should have the drive, confidence and resilience to get things done, the flexibility to work well in a team and the credibility to influence others. www.hotnigerianjobs.com

Shell matches you into a particular role based on your skills, so you will not be required to apply for a specific Shell position.

Be sure to click on "Students and Graduates" and apply for a "Shell Recruitment Day". You will need to upload a copy of your resumé, cover letter, and all academic transcripts including both undergraduate and graduate where applicable.

Let’s deliver better energy solutions together.

Academic transcripts are strictly confidential and as such, can only be sent to legal institutions on request. I've not seen anyone who has been given transcript in order to upload it to an employer or whoever. God, I pray that you'll make SPDC to be satisfied with our uploaded resume/CV.

@Gracy, School certificate is completely different from academic transcript. The former is issued to graduates while the later is confidential and can only be delivered, either by Currier Service or by EMS, to legitimate institutions on request. Gracy, SPDC that have recommende transcript upload are aware of it's confidentiality and may consider us based on our resume/CV upload. Let's believe God and hope for the best..!

For an easy assessment by my fellow applicants, this procedure may be of good help to you: After the application closing date, at the down side of the posting, click on a link written "click here" on How to Apply. That opens a new page in which you'll click, at the middle of the page, on the link written"search openings" or you may need to loging if you already have an account. If otherwise, you'll register by providing an e-mail, password etc., to create an account/profile. Clicking on the "search openings" provides a page where you'll select region of work location (Africa), country (Nigeria) and language (English). After you must've made all these selections by clicking on the appropriate highlight, scrow down and click "search". A page opens which contains "view jobs", "apply to jobs" etc. Clicking "apply to jobs" will refer you to some little questions which you'll need to answer to advance to next pages. At the end, you'll make a choice of uploding you resume/CV, via your computer or copy & paste your CV on the the space provided. On every occasion, click "next" at the extream right side of the page in order to access the next portal/page. Thank you.

@ Femi, lets be sincere on the issue of transcript. Even if you're a son to the VC of FUTA, the Records & Statistics of your institution will not deliver the transcript to your hand & as such, you'll not have an access to its content in order to upload... Well, your reason to exclude the transcript due to distance and National Service is enough to make you reason and see things in the same way with your fellow applicants. All we need do is to believe God for the Employer to make things eaiser for us by rendering to us a candid, favourable and gracious consideration!

@ Suleman. If you're really interested to apply, you'll see that Higher (National) Diploma is an equivalent qualification enumerated among the list of eligible qualifications. There is also a question, on the page, to know if you're on post-graduate course or what have you. I suggest that you better make a movement than staying dormant to unveil your assumed limitations cum incapability... Please, forgive me for saying the truth; it is for our goodn!

I can't speak for any other school but I know UNN and a couple of other schools issue student copies of your transcript if you apply for it. So please whoever is claiming it is impossible should chill out! Maybe your school is still behind in such stuff!
About the application, I can't really say what would disqualify you but you have to be consistent in your answers or you get bounced. So I guess it would be easier to stick to the truth as much as possible. Just upload the documents you have and pray for the best! I did this and thank God I have advanced really far in the process. Good luck peeps!
