Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by an international industrial Group to recruit an Information Technology Manager for its operations in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the development and optimum use of the IT system of subsidiaries.
• He will also provide functional support to subsidiaries within West and Central Africa in the use of their IT system, in conformity with the regulations of the Group.
• He will also assume the role of project manager in developing IT programmes and in the installation of IT tools at the regional level.
• The Information Technology Manager will report to the Regional Information Technology Manager.
• Ensures IT system is well managed (protection, management of authorizations and passes, management of breakdowns, protection against viruses)
• Monitors the use of various systems (for example proper application of procedures) and trains users
• Manages computer stocks, consumables and documentation on a daily basis and provide users and programmers with information on ways of improving the system.
• Collaborates with Management in preparing the IT master plan and assist Management in making IT choices.
• Defines and implements the computerization of reporting within the region, after validation.
• Trains IT managers in the use and application of IT development tools.
• Collaborates with the various departments in determining IT needs and establishes an IT plan.
• Adapts the local IT network and links all peripheral systems.
• Determines the IT running budget, IT investments, and monitors operations after validation.
• Provides IT support for subsidiaries of West and Central Africa as manager responsible for IT usage.
• Communicates with them on developments and new orientations in IT within the organization
• Organizes and enriches the IT base with Customized Tools and train users in the use of new applications.
• Represents West and Central Africa as the main link person between the organization s office in Paris and the region.
• Manages all reporting to Paris on the IT system of the West and Central Africa Region.
• Ensures the use of "best practices" adopted by the Group.
• Monitors developments in IT

Requirements

• A BSc in Computer science ,Information systems or any related course.
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in related field cutting across the usage of IT, management of IT projects, and management of IT networks.
• Must have a good knowledge of Data Management, Application systems, Development tools, Programming languages, Sage software, Internet and NTIC.
• Must have good analytical skills.
• Must be result-oriented.
• Ability to motivate & delegate people is essential.
• Must be highly creative & innovative.
• Must have good leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to speak French is an added advantage
