Hamilton Lloyd and Associates - Our client is a global real estate company with presence in Nigeria. As part of their expansion process, they have decided to hire a legal adviser.

Job Title: Legal Adviser

Location: Lagos
General role: Legal Unit

Responsibilities

• Reports to the MD/CEO
• Responsible for Legal Operations
• Ensure the company is compliant with relevant Government Agencies.
• Regulate relationship within the legal scope between the company and its employees.
• Work with project sales team on mandates
• Give legal reports and opinion in respect of legal matter pertaining to the company and its related companies or firms and its clients.
• Offer legal advice in regards to the company’s Mandates.
• Ensure all outgoing legal binding documents are compliant.
• All other tasks as assigned by the MD

Job Scope And Accountability

• Error free entries
• Error free response to clients
• Prompt receipt of calls
• Reporting – Weekly activities reporting to the MD/CEO
• Up to Date Legal records (well filed & arranged – soft copy and hard copy)

Correspondences

• Timely response to client complains
• Follow through on all transactions/ processes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's in Law
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years working experience.
