Job Tittle: Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Managing Customs clearance and inland transportation business
• Designing and implementing end-to-end supply chain process
• Managing and Coaching logistics staffs
• Setting up team target based on company's strategy and lead whole team to achieve it
• Maintaining good relationship with scanning companies,
• Customs, SON, Quarantine, shipping line etc.
• Solving and coordinating all exceptional issue and queries during Customs clearance.
• Performance evaluation and managing of all the LSP
• Cutting down clearance lead time and cost

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company.
• Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority.
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or telecommunications Engineering or relevant degree as applicable
• Good Customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently.
• Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition.
• Proficient in Microsoft office(word, excel and PowerPoint)
• Open to learning new skills and technology
• Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written
• Must be ready for international project to the other African countries.
•  Goal-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a very good team player.
• Should be good at information gathering and analysis
• Minimum 8 years work experience in a corporate environment
• Knowledge of duty computation
• Good understanding of Nigeria Import and Export Policies
• Good understanding of the payment mode of international trade documentations: letter of credits, bills for collection, etc.
• Experience in interpreting Customs Tariffs and also managing Customs Brokers
• Good knowledge of Telecommunication Equipment and HS Code classification
• Good relationship with banks, scanning companies, Customs, SON, Quarantine, Shipping line etc.
• Good communication skills and management skills.
• Knowing how to manage a team and achieve team target.
• Must have project Management skills
