Job description
The Geologist will be responsible for the supervising geotechnical and geo-environmental analysis, design, and construction engineering services

Responsibilities

• Observation and investigation of the geology in engineering projects
• Engineering geological model development
• Establishing standards and scope for the engineering geological activities
• Engineering geological information management
• Communicating the geology to engineers
• Provide project management for geotechnical and geo-environmental projects including the preparation of scope, schedules and budgets.
• Contribute to business development and proposal efforts and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications et experience

• A B.Sc degree or (HND compulsorily with a Masters degree) in Geology.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in Geological Engineering.
• Good Knowledge on the use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
• Ability to work without supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must possess demonstrable and measurable success in a similar role
• Must possess all other skills required in this profession
