Job Title: Web Developer

Location: Lagos

Job Description:

An award winning creative agency with an impressive list of clients is looking for an experienced UI Web Designer / Front-end Web Developer to join its digital team, digital is at the core of everything they do!
Interested candidate must be a creative thinker with a passion for all things web and mobile, with a portfolio of digital projects that clearly demonstrate skills and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

UI design, front-end website and web application development, optimized across multiple browsers and mobile device platforms
Work across a broad range of exciting projects for a variety of clients and big brands
Help to recommend, plan and develop dynamic web and digital projects
Be involved at all stages of the design and development process
Testing and support of new and existing solutions
Stay up-to-date with current web design trends and new technologies
Help us to push the boundaries to produce websites and digital solutions with amazing user experiences.
Think creatively and critically about every assignment understand the project goals, client needs, and studio agenda
Manage projects and ensure they executed timely, efficiently and to specification
Assist in planning overall company policy regarding search engine optimization and web development.

Skills and Specifications:

3-6 years Experience
Advanced HTML5 and CSS3 hand-coding skills combined with Ajax, JQuery and JavaScript
Extensive experience of developing and testing websites for multiple browsers, platforms and devices including smartphones and tablets
Development of responsive and adaptive user interfaces
Good working knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI best practices
Knowledge of PHP and MySQL, would be advantageous
Knowledge of SEO and web accessibility would be an advantage
An ability to work well alone as well as in a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to utilize SQL technologies
Good graphics skills
Familiar with web development regulations
Be innovative and reliable
Strong problem solving skills
An organized approach with excellent attention to detail and take pride in your work
Experience of using content management and version control systems would be advantageous
Previous digital agency experience preferred, but not essential.
