For shell to specify call on those that have first class and second class upper for their recruitment. They should bear in mind that there are some graduates with third class result, that scores several exams and screening test 90 out of 100, while the first class score 25 out of 100

When you click the apply now bar from Hotnigerianjobs, a shell recruitment day page opens. Search for something close to 'If u are having problems viewing this page, click here' den click on 'click here'. Next u register if u have not done such before then start the application using search openings, etc as stated in hotnigerian jobs.

A reputable I.T firm in Lagos needs the following:

1) Industrial attachment (Website Design)
Location: Lagos
Requirements
• Student of Computer Science or any relevant course
• Must have a little knowledge of Website development
• Must have a basic knowledge of HTML,Java, ASPs
• Must be able to use software like Photoshop and Fireworks etc
• Must be ready to learn

2) Developer/Support Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the in-house software development and design, website design and support, creation of special report using third party reporting tools, like crystal report.
• Create efficient, scalable, reusable middle tier logic using any of ASP. NET, VB. NET, C# and other languages as needed.
• Create intuitive, logical and dynamic user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Create and design databases, views, stored procedures, SQL statements and user defined functions in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 and Oracle
• Manage Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2013 Server, IIS, COM+ and MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 with regards to administration and performance tuning..
• Develop and administer plug-ins to the monitoring tools to render critical reports for decision making
• Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures
• Review code for potential performance issues, reusability, and/or anomalies.
• Detail unit testing of code, Troubleshoot client problems both remotely and onsite.
• Research and identify cause of reported defects and issues
• Develop patches and defect fixes.
• Perform and assist with quality assurance activities as needed.
• Participate in training and/ or customer support activities as needed.
• Backup/Recovery strategy of Database, VM Servers, Windows etc.


Requirements

• Minimum of BSc or HND Computer Science, Electrical Electronic, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum of 1 years experience in similar industry
• Experience using typed datasets is critical.
• Programming and development skill in CH. ASP. net, VB. Net, PHP, MSSQL, Web design and Sharepoint, with a good understanding of Microsoft line of products.


3) Mobile Application Developer

Job Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
• As an IT Mobile Application Developer, you will work in a collaborative environment in which knowledge is shared within and between teams.
• Considers mobile application design and development constraints to user interface and memory management.
• Collaborates with web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support mobile applications.
• Collaborates with front end developers to build the interface and usability features, using data and user testing to influence design decisions.
• Keeps up on industry trends and current technological standards, languages, coding techniques, utilities and operational considerations.
• Makes suggestions for process, coding, implementation, and performance improvements.
• Highly proficient with the following technologies:
• Java
• Android SDK
• Web service technologies, specifically REST APIs
• Emerging web standards, such as HTML5
• Service oriented designs and technologies (AJAX, XML/JSON)
• Excellent analytical skills

Requirements:
Deep knowledge of one of the following: Java, C#
Web service integration experience (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
A firm grasps of threading, memory management, UI development, and OO design
Minimum of 1 years software development experience
Interest in learning and developing on new platforms.
Must care about quality, from user experience, to pixel perfect design, to testing

Most of the university only issued academic transcripts to the requesting institution or organisation but dosn't give to an individual on request. I wonder why shell is asking for the record of academic transcripts from the applicant.

I just submitted my application now and I wasn't asked to submit any academic transcript along my cv and moreover, any graduate that has at least a 2'1 or first class is eligible to apply. Although, you have to persevere because the website is usually congested. I've been trying to apply everyday for the past 6 days and it just paid off today.

nawa for nija oo,we no underrstand anytyn,weda 1.1,2.1,3.1,pass etc.all will still undergo training den y specifying it.dy will all be trainees meaning the will be trained.since the want first last n 2.1 wats the need for training dem.my brodas everyone shuld apply.If God say u will wrk dia,u will weda u hv certificate of participation or pass,just apply n leave it to God.
