The presidential directive was given at today’s Federal Executive Council meeting where the president further directed that all those who lost their loved ones would have automatic slot for three applicants.
Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, disclosed this to State House correspondents on Wednesday at the end of the Federal Executive Council meeting which was devoted to the incident.
According to the directive, one of the three beneficiaries must be a lady.
Also to be given automatic employment are all the applicants nationwide, who sustained injuries and are currently hospitalized.

So, what then happens to the rest of us that are alive and not injured? Do we have to die or be incritical condition before they do something???? Their negligence and lack of consideration for the youths brought about this in the 1st place. Pls Mr President do something about us all not only the dead or injured. We are all nigerians, we deserve equal right.

Wait,so after me being responsible enough to avoid the drama that caused the stampede; these people want to give the job to the injured and the dead? That's a good gesture, but i too went to write that exam, and i submitted my paper after writing. They should also mark our script and give us who passed the job, no joke or else!!!

Really, this is not funny. Everything here seems like a joke. I don't know what this country is turning into. And the so called leaders what they are all thinking. Especially the ones making some stupid comments, like they didn't pass through schools at all or where their senses most have gone to. Any way, the people governing this country needs serious repentance for this country to move forward. Giving jobs to the families of the lost ones and the injured are all good. But, all the candidates also should not be left out. The youths or masses need jobs and cancellation is not the best solution. Mr President try and listen to the voice of the Lord so that he can make way for you in this coming 2015.

this is interesting. i tried hard not to get myself injured but still left d recruitment centre with a red eye. now it has been cancelled. impossible. why three slots to one person? one person died, one slot should be given so dat some of us who are still alive and healthy, will at least be remembered. i dnt have to die or injured.

Mr president, the yoouth have really suffered enough in this country, i dont think theres need to cancel the NIS examination exercise for no reason.. you have decided to compensate the dead ones and injured ones which i am one of the injured but no way to reach out to you. The candidates really suffered before we could write the exam so i urge you to favor us by considering the NIS examination positively. We are all in need and suffering. May God help us all 09032630106

This is interesting Mr President should have employed those who passed the Test not to cancel the recruitment, what should the citizens that have no work do. What happened was as a result of unorganized recruitment. I am waiting or them. God will do the best.
