The Board of Management of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists (Reg,) Board of Nigeria, IMRTB), Central Medical Library Compound, Yaba, Lagos, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of:

Job Title: Registrar/Chief Executive officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description
The Req. /CEO shall be:

• The Chief accounting officer of the Board
• In charge of the day to day administrative management of the affairs of the Board.
• The secretary to the Board of management during Board meetings and proceedings
• Charged with the responsibility to carry out/execute all directives and policy guidelines of the Board of management.

Qualifications/Experience
Candidates aspiring for the post of Registrar/CEO must fulfill the underlisted criteria:

• Be a degree holder in any of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapy professions in the Country namely: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Chiropractic & Osteopathic Medicine.
• Possess current practicing licence of the Board
• Have a postgraduate qualification in relevant fields (M.Sc. PhD)
• Possession of ‘easter degree in Business Administration (MBA), public Administration (MPA), M.Sc. in Hospital Administration, Mni, and evidence of Research and scientific publications is added advantages.
• Should not be less than 12 years post qualification working experience in the field of Medical Rehabilitation Therapy.

Essential Skills and Qualities

• The candidates must show evidence of high level managerial skills and experience in administration.
• Must have good track records of employment from the point of engagement the point of his/her application:
• Must be persons of courage, who can take decisions on the basis of merit, facts and principles
• Must be of impeccable character with proven qualities of dynamic leadership

Tenure of Office
The appointment is for a term of four (4) years in the first instance and renewable, for another four 4 years thereafter, subject to satisfactory performance during the 1st term.

Remuneration
The salary a consolidated arid the successful appointee shall enjoy the benefits of the office as applicable to the Chief Executives officers of Federal Parastatals and as may be approved from time to time by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
