i appreciate all consultancy firms for their unflinching effort in keeping the graduate employees abreast for job vacancies.however, these employees found it difficult in applying to the designated sites provided as regards creating an account whereas you have a valid account with this consultancy firm that prompted the job alerts. so let them look into this little challenge

I will advise many unemployed youth not to waste their precious time applying for this bank job. It's a complete rubbish, you work for some years and get fired, then you start all over again.I'll suggest that you seek a career in a place where you are guaranteed that ur job will be secured. The bank in question hiring is Union Bank.Just find out from their so called new graduates their experiences wth the bank.A case of 'hire & fire'.A word is enough for the wise.I'm talking from experience.

@Sunday and Iyke, stop discouraging others. Let them make their own choice. Experience is the best teacher, if it didn't work for you does not mean it can't work for others.

@Liza,not that I am discouraging others, but just do a search on the rate @ which banks disengage their workers, you will appreciate better what I am talking about.
For instance, the recent Immigration recruitment exercise,I discovered that so many bankers wrote the test, and want to leave the industry.
Also,as an outsource staff in one of the new generation bank,I will never dream of working in the sector again.I have since moved on to a better employment, and most of my banker friends keep telling me to look for opening for them where I am now. Also where my organization banks,we keep seeing bankers begging to come and work in our establishment. That tells you a not so palatable story from the banking sector. What an elder sees while sitting..............

Jst want to make few points. Its usually contract staff that are often laid off like that in banks. Your friends that want to leave the banking sector, are they contract staff or marketers? If yes, i see the reason why they want to leave. Secondly, if everybody don't want to work in the bank, who will work there? That you don't want to work in the bank doesn't mean that other people don't want to, like some1 said, its all about choice. Personally, i can't work in state ministries cos they don't do anything there. (sleeping). Why was there a stampede at the stadia during immigration test? Everybody want govt work. For me sha, i have always loved to have a banking experience after which i'l go into lecturing. Have a dream, work towards achieving it. With God all things are possible.!!!

All i knw is dat whether banking or not,no matter hw u find ur job interesting or not, human needs and wants are insatiable, u will always luk for a beta one. Do u want to remain in a place for life nd not find how to make it forward? NO, u wont want to remain stagnant.
Now u are saying dat people are running away from d banking sector, its bcos dey want to move from a certain point to another dat is more greater, abi someone dat has graduated for like say 6 to 7 years nd has been searching for job since den, will now see banking job nd nt do it, or be complaining is too stressful?
just sit down at home for like 1 or 2 months (not to talk of 6 to 7 years) without doing anything, u will c dat its nt easy sitting down, infact u will even be praying for a job dat is lesser dan d banking job jst to com ur way.

To sunday&miguel both of u have a points.i joined the motion that banking job is not a good job someone should be looking for.we are just given the advice to those who have ear to hear. But if u can be employed as a full or core staff summon okay in d sense that u will use a little time staying wth them to gather d resource together b4 d final whissle or showing u d way out.
