We are recruiting to fill the following position:

Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Location: Lagos

Activities

• Follow-up of detailed engineering development activities progress related to Process (i.e process/utilities) systems for the entire FPSO by the EPC contractor, the LLI vendors and packages vendors. This includes the review and comment of engineering and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications, Corporate standard and HSE regulation, international codes, BV and SOLAS applicable rules.
• Supervision, control, review and co-ordination of Detailed Process Engineering development in compliance with Project specifications and Procedures, Company General Specifications, discipline requirements and international codes, with respect of cost, schedule and required level of quality and safety applicable to this project.
• Review of the dynamic simulation calculations reports, P&IDs, datasheets, material selection, control and safety philosophies, sizing calculations, H&M balances, etc…
• Assist the Lead Discipline to coordinate the Company Process engineers’ team. Act as Deputy Lead Discipline when required by Management or absence of Lead Discipline Engineer.
• Mentoring of junior staff members during the project development.
• Assist in vendor selection.
• Ensure close coordination with other disciplines on all Engineering, Constructability and Operational matters (in particular with LLIs items).
• Manage/attend regular follow-up meetings with contractors, LLIs suppliers and main package vendors.
• Provide technical answers to technical queries related to Process issues.
• Coordinate with hull marine system engineer for hull process systems.
• Attend the HAZOP sessions with Company team, EPC contractors and vendors.
• Provide technical answers and clarifications to internal project audit sessions (PTR, HAZOP,etc…)
• Manage assistance from HQ Company Process specialist (DGEP/SCR) (derogation requests…).
• Ensure that relevant feedback/REX from previous FPSOs are considered in the design performance.
• Ensure that design is standardized across the FPSOs.
• Maintain updated version of Master PID dossier and ensure regular updates of the design changes during completion, commissioning and start up phases of the project.
• Assist to resolve technical clarifications raised during construction and commissioning phases, following up of field engineering modifications as relevant.
• Promote and ensure an effective implementation of SSHE rules and procedures under his field of responsibility.

Context and Environment

• Detailed engineering of Topsides to take place in Lagos.
• Detailed engineering of Hull to take place in Korea.
• Construction activities partly in Nigeria and partly in Korea
• Part of FPSO integration to occur in Lagos

Accountabilities

• Good engineering dossier for process discipline all across the entire FPSO.
• Efficient management of the discipline team.
• Efficient communication with remote Hull team.
• Good and efficient engineering documentation review, comment and follow-up.
• Good leadership with engineering contractors, LLIs suppliers and packages vendors.
• Follow-up of internal technical reviews (HAZOP, PTR 3, 4, and others)

Requirement

• Qualification: Master degree in process system engineering
• Experience: 5 years experience as Lead Process Eng. in process field in Oil and Gas activities.
• Experience in FPSO, or offshore facilities, is preferred.
• Experience in Contractor side is preferred.
• Available for technical missions worldwide.
• Familiar with Client’s GS.
• Language: Fluent English.
• Computer literate, especially in process simulation.
• Strong leadership skills and good communication skills
• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
• Good analytical skills
