Job Description
The SERVICE consists of:

As Project Representative Offshore, shall be responsible for the overall co-ordination of the offshore operations regarding the construction activities of CONTRACTORS for the offshore Phase of the Project and shall ensure all activities and the supporting barges are in line with Company Rules.
To ensure permanent smooth interface between the Project and the OIM/Production Offshore team.
To ensure all internal and external construction interfaces and to manage contracts key dates to meet project milestones
To complete the work with due regard to safety of personnel and company assets while still meeting project key dates

Specific Activities:

To co-ordinate and manage/arbitrate with Marine Superintendent the requested use and deployment of the logistics means dedicated to the Project offshore campaign with respect of the Overall Project Planning
To ensure optimization of POB accommodation for the overall Project personnel (CPY/CTR)
With the assistance of nominated Barge Administrator and Personnel Logistics coordinator, ensure smooth transfer from and to site of Project and Contractors team.
To establish and maintain regular communication with other Package entities in Port-Harcourt/Lagos.

Construction:

To make necessary arbitration between different disciplines, the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project
To identify deficiencies and assist Package Hook Up leaders in developing solutions to solve construction problems
To manage construction interfaces among Packages and with Operations,
To ensure formal communication / contact with the Operations Team through organized meetings.
To ensure a good coordination and communication within HU team, and assure proper dissemination of information within his team.
To ensure adequate reporting of offshore activities progress to the Offshore and Coordination Manager.
Assist the Commissioning Site Leader to ensure smooth transfer of facilities from Construction Team to Project Start-up Manager.
To be the Project feedback coordinator for the offshore phase and as such promote the feedback reporting process to Heads of Discipline and Discipline Leaders offshore and collect the information.

Other Activities:

Ensure that HSE is given the highest priority.
Support and implement the Project HSEQ management system (charters, objectives, directives, plans, procedures, specifications, ...)
Promotes HSEQ awareness of workforce at all levels through pro-active attitude (site tour, HSEQ meetings, incentives actions,...) within Project team and Contractors.
