Service Team Leader - Cummins West Africa (A.G. Leventis)

Cummins West Africa is a worldwide provider of electrical generators and power generation systems, components and services in standby power, distributed power generation, as well as auxiliary power in mobile applications to meet the needs of a diversified customer base.

Cummins Power Generation products include diesel and alternative-fueled electrical generator sets from 2.5 to 2,700 kW, alternators from 0.6 KVA to 30,000 KVA, transfer switches from 40 amps to 3,000 amps, paralleling switchgear and generator set controls.

Its expanding its operations in Nigeria and it urgently requires competent, brilliant and result oriented persons for the following positions:

Job Title:  Service Team Leader

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Responsibilities

• Ability to motivate and manage a team and work with a sense of urgency in providing excellent service to our clients and customer.
• Collaborate with members of the sales Force to recognise potential sales opportunities as well as to ensure the maintenance and further penetration of current business relationships.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to efficiently manage team and team territory and ton ensure the continued growth of the business.
• Work to ensure team objectives are met and look for ways to further streamline policies, procedures, and ultimately increase the level of quality and customer service produced by the group.
• Motivate and manage the service team, monitoring the day-to-day operations to ensure workload is evenly distributed throughout the team.
• To monitor the changing needs of the service, liaising with internal and external customers to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for service improvement and implementing those improvements to the satisfaction of internal and external customers.

Requirements:

• HND, B.Sc or B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Electronics Engineer
• Candidates who can drive will be given preference

Experience/Skills

• Minimum of 5 years service experience
• Excellent communication, listening, feedback, delegation, fostering teamwork and multi-tasking skills
• Experience in Cummins engines or generators is essential
• Excellent customer relationship management
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
