Job Title: Professor (Urban & Regional Planning)

Description:

• A Candidate for this post should normally possess a good first degree and Ph.D. degree in Urban and Regional Planning or related discipline.
• Candidate must have at least ten (10) years teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a University or comparable institution of higher learning and should normally have served as Associate Professor for three (3) years.
• Candidate must have ability to initiate and develop courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and research programmes at postgraduate level.
• Sufficient administrative experience and ability to provide both academic and administrative leadership is required.
• Evidence of several scholarly publications in learned Journals is required in addition to evidence of ability to supervise post-graduates (including) Ph.D. candidates in areas of expertise. Professional registration with the Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC) is a requirement.Candidates who have been Senior Lecturers for a minimum of six years may be considered for appointment.Area of Specialisation: Land Use Planning, Housing, Sustainable Development, Urban Management

Salary Range:
CONUASS 7 (N2,485,099.00 – N3,209,140.00) per annum.
