Job Title: Associate Professor (Urban & Regional Planning)

Location: Lagos

Description:

• Candidate for this post should normally possess a good first degree and Ph.D. degree in Urban and Regional Planning.
• Candidate must have at least eight (8) years teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a University or comparable institution of higher learning and should normally have served as Senior Lecturer for three (3) years.
• Candidate must have ability to initiate and develop courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and research programmes at postgraduate level.
• Sufficient administrative experience and ability to provide both academic and administrative leadership is required. Evidence of several scholarly publications in learned Journals is required in addition to evidence of ability to supervise post-graduates (including) Ph.D. candidates in areas of expertise.
• Professional registration with the Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC) is a requirement. Area of Specialisation: Land use planning, Urban Informality, Urban Management, Sustainable Development

Salary Range:
CONUASS 6 (N2,053,124.00 – N2,684,096.00) per annum.
