i believe this job placement is just formalities because, how can you expect the person to have completed the entry clearance officers training already from Uk,have a Uk passport and all that. its just not right.

Hello, this is a welcomed opportunity, because it goes a long way to curb unemployment in nigeria and to empower it's citizens, but i seriously think that those impossible conditions should be reviewed, because it is not right to obtain a uk passport and complete an entry clerance training in the uk,to work in a high commission situated in nigeria.thanks.

the British High Commission has tried by introducing something like this but is not enough becouse the conditions attached to it is not for the common Nigerian who is capable but for the rich and those that are wel conected that can afford to travel to the UK to do one or two things.so please if you want to assist the common Nigerian who is able and capable, then remove this costly conditions attached.

Reading through the responses below really does give concern for the contributors' quality of education.
a) You must be British to apply - the rule says they can employ whoever they want. A High commission or foreign Embassy is considered its country where it is located under relevnt international laws and conventions

b) They would prefer that successful applicants undergo some pre-qual training but in the alternative, will arrange training before they start the job

c) U na sabi read so?

d) God no get anything to do wit am o!!! If u no meet the condition, waka. Go do something else.

e) Bye. By d way, me I qualify!

The qualities needed is very much acceptable but to open the offer to only British Passport Holders is quite unfair.what about people who has the principles and the qualities needed even more than those with the demanded passport? You have already denied them the offer. And this is just the problem of this nation. They will always make things difficult for the average Nigerians.British High Commission, this is indeeed unfair!
