Most of the comments posted here by some aclaimed Nigerian graduates call for tears. I suggest that the schools that produced them be closed down and their certificates invalidated. May the gentle soul of education in Nigeria rest in peace!

@ Oliver, what do you expect from the so called graduates when the lectuerers themselves cannot converse in good english.Tribalism is one of the sole problems in Niageria. Go to northern schools, you'll see that most of the lecturers are hausas who are not even qualified to teach in secondary schools. It's the same in other schools across the nation. Nigeria killed education when they allowed those who barely passed o level into colleges of education. Colleges of education should be reserved for those with excellent o level results, and teachers should be among the most highly paid workforce in the country thereby making the teaching profession hot cake and for the intelligent and passionate minds only. We really need to revisit the issue of quality and not quantity education in Nigeria. Thus, we should focus on how well schools(especially higher institutions) perfom rather than how many universities to open across the thirty six states.
