Federal University Wukari - Academic & Non-Academic Vacancies

Federal University Wukari, Taraba State is one of the nine newly established Federal Universities in Nigeria. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below in the University for non teaching Staff.

Central Laboratory/Equipment Maintenance Services unit

1.)  Director, Central Laboratory Services (Contiss 15)

Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus eighteen (18) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of Nigerian institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) (and other relevant professional bodies) or a
Masters degree from a recognized university in a relevant field plus fifteen (15) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies.

2.)  Deputy Director, Central Laboratory Services ( Contiss 15)

Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus twelve (12) years post qualification NYSC cognate experience and membership of Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) and other relevant professional bodies or;
A Masters degree from a recognized University in a relevant field plus fifteen (15) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT)

3.)  Senior System Analyst/Programmer Engineers (Contiss 9)

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution plus six (6) years post NYSC cognate experience; or
A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized University, with three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience.

4.)  Systems Analyst/Programmer Engineers I (Contiss 8)

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience
A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized university, plus NYSC experience

5.)  Systems Analyst/Programmer Engineers II (Contiss 7)

Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.

6.)  Science Laboratory Instrument Technologists I (Contiss 8)
 
Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience

7.)  Science Laboratory Instrument Technologists II (Contiss 7)

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus NYSC.

Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus NYSC and membership of NISLT

9.)  Senior Science Laboratory Instrument Technologists (Contiss 9)

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus six (6) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies or a Masters degree from a recognized University in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies.

Qualifications

Masters degree from a recognized University in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of NISLT

11.)  Science Laboratory Technologists I (Physics, chemistry, Biology, Microbiology) - Contiss 8

Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of NISLT.

Note
All Candidates must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable;
Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved Salary Scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria:
Candidates who are awaiting results may not be considered and need not apply; Computer literacy is required for all officer cadre and above.
