CIAPS Recruiting Artists for an International Exhibition in Lagos

CIAPS is a Lagos based center for international advanced and professional studies that offer postgraduate and professional programmes in Banking, Business Studies, Education, Media and Journalism. It is the first paperless academic institution in Africa.

Programme Description

• The Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies (CIAPS) is launching its 2014 Arts Festival with an Arts Exhibition dedicated to the life and works of the writer and playwright Wole Soyinka.
• The event dubbed “WS in Arts” slated for 9 to 12 October 2014 will take place at CIAPS and will feature artists and students of Arts from Nigeria other African and European Countries.
• The event will show case their paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography etc. on themes from books, poems, plays and essays of Wole Soyinka.
• An international panel of Critics, Academics, Artists, Art Dealers and Art lovers will select exhibiting artists.

Selection

• An international panel of Critics, Academics, Artists, Art Dealers and Art lovers will select exhibiting artists.

Selected artists will get the opportunity to:

• Showcase their work in an international context,
• Sell their work directly or through Selected Art Dealers
• Nominated for a series of International Prizes and Awards.
