Halliburton Energy Services Nigeria Limited with Head Office in Victoria Island Lagos is seeking for qualified Nigerians with experience in Drilling, Completion and Production Operations to fill the position below:

Job Title: Geographic Information System Spec-MC

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for maintaining the FTP site including managing continual update.
• Utilize AzcGis software and Delorme Xmap for operational naps of corrosion mitigation locations.
• Create, maintain, and publish maps for customers as necessary.
• Perform field data collection using Delorme Pn20 and Trimble Geo XM GPS receivers.
• Collect pertinent data to recommend the best possible location on a pipeline to apply chemical and coupons.
• Participate in field surveys of pipeline systems.
• Assist with data evaluation and acquisition of third party data and acquired access, Research, identify, and may assets of top operators in shale plays in an effort to assist with the attainment of new customers.
• Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue centers viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Graphic information Systems, Cartography, Geography, Surveying or related field is required as well as 7 years of applicable experience.

Qualification/Skills Required:

• Applicants MUST have a minimum of HND/B.Eng in Engineering/science or any related field/discipline.
• Candidates are expected to have a Practical knowledge in design and in the field applied for.
• International experience in oil and gas deep water operations is an added advantage.
• Completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience in mining operations, and management experience.
