Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Kwara State

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Quantity Surveyor is directly responsible to the Director, Works and Physical Planning
• Department for the day to day activities of the Department which, among others, include; analysis of overall cost for protects construction regarding quality of material and other budgetary concerns
• Keeping project budget at the minimum
• Preparation of legal contract documents and rendering of detailed progress report on ongoing construction projects
• Conducting research on all health and safety regulations regarding local and state policies for information of project contractors
• Acting as liaison between the contractor’s engineering and sales department to keep cost down

Qualifications:

• Candidates for the post of a Senior Quantity Surveyor (CONTISS 08) must possess B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying from any recognized institution.
• Minimum of five years relevant working experience preferably in a University or appropriate examination.
• Proficiency in ICT will be an added advantage.
