Good day... Why is Edo state excluded from the three states. Edo state is a member of the niger delta. Consider the state in this great opportunity. Thanks.

good morning sir/madam,

this is a good news to all but why science courses and degree candidates alone, why can't opportunities be given to those in the polytechnic and those that hold an OND to continue their learning outside the country?

thanks.

I am 27 years old, and a graduate of University of Ibadan with Masters in Sociology(demography as an area of specialization) and I had 70.7 as my grade and I came 2nd best in my class. I had B.Sc. in Statistics with second class upper (5.4) from the above mentioned university. I also had Professional Diploma in Statistics with 67.5 as my average (Upper credit).
Sir, I found out that with all these qualifications that I have and I am from Delta State, Isoko south Local Government Area (Enwhe and Emede) both oil producing community but I don't have access to SPDC scholarships. I have apply for my PhD in the University of Ibadan but I dont have scholarship to continue my program. Please Sir, I want you to look at other areas of discipline when allocating scholarship funds to Niger Delta Students because not every body in Delta State will go for oil and gas or Engineering. There are so many disciplines like humanities and even in science which i want your organization to look at and inculcate all these disciplines in your scholarship program. These other disciplines will actually contribute to knowledge and help in capacity building in your organization.
I will be very grateful if you will look at this and cinsider me for this scholarship program.
Thank you Sir.

Yours Sincerely,

Monica E. Akokuwebe,
Dept. of Sociology,
University of Ibadan,
Nigeria.
