Job Description
Essential duties and responsibilities:

Provides executive management with up to date strategic trends in political, economic, social, business trends in the industry and analyze how it will impact the organization.
Research new business trends and make recommendations as regards best practices in use by global organizations
Identify sources of data needed for key business problems and their locations, structure, and accessibility and readiness for aggregations
Prepare visualizations of data in order to explain and persuade
Provides information on the ever changing needs and expectations of the customer and implement need strategies on globally acceptable customer satisfaction trends which includes but not limited to; analyzing changes within the broader industry the organization operates within, researching new alliances, new
market entrants, new services.
Provides detailed information on customer survey and other unsaid observations made as regards their view of the organization and seeking areas of improvement.
Track competitors strategy as it relates to finance, business, marketing, human resources, promotion, culture, structure, alliances, technology etc.
Keep up to date on effective strategies which include participating in the creative way of strategic planning that results in stakeholder’s buy-in
Ensures the use of a balanced score card in strategy sessions in order to balance IQ, EQ and SQ to ensure people are excited and inspired while they develop new powerful strategies.
Works closely with departments to ensure that all planning and measurement system use the same terminology and language and are implemented within the system.
Ensure departments provide their objectives and this goals are applied to the strategic planning, budgeting, performance management and reports
Plans and ensure measurement are developed and implemented within the system.
Ensures that all data collected from survey are accurate and reliable.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Educational Qualification

A university degree in Business Management is an added advantage
Advanced and strategic thinking skills
Ability to drive components of large multi-functional projects
Good leadership skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis
Good reasoning skills and ability to adapt quickly
Data Analysis skills using Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Ability to work with spreadsheets and other quantitative modeling
Ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization
Ability to discuss & present complex strategic topics at a senior management level
Good project management and organizational skills
