I wonder what is wrong with Nigerian "graduates." How will you ever get employed whe you are all so stupid? SEND THE APPLICATION (COVER LETTER) AND YOUR CV TO THE STATED ADDRESS VIA POST. THEY DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR UGLY FACES! It's morons like you that are clogging up the Nigeria job Market and makin it difficult for those that are actually smart. Hot Nigerian Jobs will only post vacancies, so you whining will not change anything. There is no email address, no location, nothing but the P. O. Box. If you won't follow simple instructions that my 2-year-old daughter can follow, you don't deserve to be employed! The coy I work with also used post to test those that are serious or not. What's wrong with all of you?

And the remaining who post their CV's and tell the Admin to get back to them in respect of the job posts should be tied to a stake and shot. I believe if all the dumb idiots here are executed than the remaining few with sense would find it easier to get jobs.

@Vanny must you be that rude simply because you want to explain something to someone, please mind your choose of words.
For those that are confused your location right now does not matter provided there is a postal agency in your area. Just go and post your CV the only thing you have to consider is the time to post it so that it will get to the destination before the deadline.

Come 2 tink of it, wat's all d noise about graduates? if u tink d knowledge u have were acquired durin ur time in d university, den u r limited in ur tinkin. Ur attitude 2wards others u feel u r more qualified dan must change. U dont correct someone by insultin dem. I m sure d reason u r nt unemployed is bcos peeps like u will use deir position 2 crush others tryin 2 grow, shame on u all. I have followed the thread of comments on this page closely for a while and once again I am deeply disappointed in us. I use 'us' so that it is understood that I am a graduate who is looking for a job like everyone else here. I have mentioned before on some other job post that this constant use of short forms that are used in texting is simply unacceptable. There are a lot of people here who have made grammatical errors in their comments, in fact, I can say over 95% of the comments contain one mistake or the other. But then I am not here to point fingers, abuse, insult or denigrate anyone. It is just that all these 'nd','d','tink','rite','dat','fyn','wy','yut' and all the other so-called abbreviations that appear in text messages are creeping into our daily lives. On a forum of interaction with other people like us, we no longer bother about how understandable our comments are. This definitely affects your spelling as the correct spelling of words disappear from memory after a while due to disuse. Instead of trying to make ourselves feel better by advising or demeaning others, it is much more productive to look for ways to improve our vocabulary which I must say is very poor. Read more books, not 'How to get rich' or 'The Richest man in Babylon' but old school novels by both African and English authors. It is imperative for our general well-being as a people,as a nation,as a country to seek self-development continually:there is no limit to improvement or learning. that would be so much better than all this pointless bickering over who knows what and all that. I do sincerely hope my words strike a chord within us and we start tomorrow with a new spirit.

Why are people just being stupid and abusive? Someone suggested it will be wise to provide an e-mail for c.vs to be sent because they believe its the fastest means of delivering information without stress. It does not mean he doesn't know that the advertisers wants everything in their P.O Box. It doesn't call for abusive words. So wale and co, pls be more social and fill ur brains with understanding instead of behaving this way.

Nigerian graduates, do we have to rain abusive words on ourselves over jobs and vacancy post that may have even been occupied before posting to the internet. Instead of collectively praying that God should help us out in this country of ours, we are condemning others. if we are very good as we claimed to be, why are we still surfing the net for vacancies. @Philip your very right but this is an informal/social network. @Philip; let me say for egoistic reason I will dignify your advice on the bad trend of abbreviation, it is not bad in all communication style though but may need a bit of more serious act of professional writing...During one of your suggestions, you talked about reading old folks in improving grammatical jingoism, well I may object that considering the advancement over language structure during the past decades...Imagine writer like shakespare and co is still on earth, would you consider his grammar un-obsolate? let read new classical literature...Thanks for you suggestion anyway...

I use Facebook a lot and I also do a lot of texting but I do not use these abbreviations in either forum. I type fast on a keyboard, something I have trained myself to do over the years. It is a matter of personal choice: I can not impose my opinion on anyone. But you will find that if you make an effort to type words in full, your communication skills improve. As for classics, I never meant plays from the 18th century(Shakespeare) but novels by people like Chinua Achebe, Elechi Amadi, Cyprian Ekwensi,Mario Puzo, Robert Ludlum,Frederick Forsyth,Alexandre Dumas(modern translations of his work),John Grisham,Jane Austen and a lot of others. It is not for anything other than to broaden our horizons to try to understand how other people think and the words they use in expressing themselves.

Mr eze, pls I beg you in the name of God. If there is a way you can delete your comments, pls do. Because I am embarrassed with your statements. I just wonder the school you got your first class from.

Well the fact still remains, as stupid as u claim Yemisi is and as wise as u claim you all are, we are all still unemployed . If you were so wise you wouldn't be on this forum. To those of us with 2 yr old daughters that can understand simple instruction, leave the rest of us alone. The only thing you have more than the next man is your opinion so if any one ( like myself) needs an email address to fasten the process ... Mind your business

There are some questions people are asking here that will make you to doubt if they passed through tertiary institutions. This is not a matter of 'too know' as some people are alleging. We should able to read and comprehend instructions. The advert does not ask anyone to submitted by hand. The Post office number (box) is the only medium through which applications are received. Simply write your letter, either handwritten or typed (the choice is yours) , attach your cv, quote the reference number as instructed and post it. I will advise you to buy 100/150 stamp if you are living outside lagos for quick delivery. Frivolous questions must be halted henceforth.

@Mr. Phillip: I'm with you all the way. Its so sad that people are now using personalised text abbreviations for public wirtting, and they sometimes expects others to understand, its pathetic. Overall is ruining the quality of english spoken and written by Nigerian graduates. Kudos to you man!
