Job Description

• A successful Oil and Gas EPC organisation, renowned for their turnkey projects across Topsides Development are seeking to identify a Business Development Manager to be based in Nigeria, in either Lagos or Port Harcourt. This individual must have good knowledge on Pipeline projects within Nigeria.

The role

• This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and direction to all the operations within the organisation, in order to meet the financial and business targets which have been set.
• As the Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation takes full advantage of the emerging markets and capitalises on future business opportunities within Nigeria.
• You will ensure the strategy is in place to accomplish the organisation business goal, penetrating and wining new accounts for the business.

Candidate Profile

• To be successful in this role, your experience must exceed 10 years in the Oil and Gas Industry, working for an EPC organisation. Skills wise, you will be well versed in business evaluations and be able to prepare bids whilst also negotiate high value contracts and projects. Must have held a senior management role in the past 4-5 years, with in depth knowledge of Pipeline Projects.

Additionally, we are keen to speak with professionals who have:

• First degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, or Business/Management related discipline with a relevant professional certifications.
• Exposure to West Africa is particularly desirable
• Credibility in the industry is extremely important, as well as demonstrable leadership skills.
